WELCOME TO THE ROMANIAN COOKBOOK

On this website I will take you on a culinary journey through my home country, Romania. We will cook together the most traditional dishes from Romania, as well as many of my family favourites.

We will talk about typical holiday food such as sarmale or lamb soup, but also regional specialties such as the most delicious fish dishes from the Danube Delta.

Are you ready to cook to impress? Let’s go and cook my favourite traditional Romanian recipes!

TRADITIONAL ROMANIAN RECIPES

The traditional Romanian cuisine is hearty, flavoursome and delicious. Many of the most famous Romanian dishes are based on pork, smoked meat, pickled cabbage, maize and bors – a liquid made from bran that rarely misses from our most comfort food: the ciorba.
